“Happy Father’s Day”

Father'sDay3

Father’s Day

“Over the years
As we grow old,
We remember our father
So brave and bold.

In the garden,
Leaning on the plow,
He would listen to me;
I see him now.

He would give advice
And understand;
He was always there
To lend a hand.

God made fathers
Strong and firm,
For he knew our lives
Would have great concerns.

So he gave us fathers
To teach us to pray,
And guide our lives,
And show us the way.

So on his day
Let’s take the time
To say “Thanks, dad.
I’m glad you’re mine.”

Low Poly | Campfire in the Woods

Hi guys! 😀

I would like to share a simple artwork I made last June 18, 2016. It was raining outside and the streets were silent, so I closed my eyes and I saw a misty forest, then when I looked further through the forest, I saw a light – a campfire. This is a poem entitled, “A Campfire in the Woods”. Enjoy!

A Campfire in the Woods

FinalRender1

“At first glance, You might think I am here alone

You might think there is no one with me

But no. Around me, I have the stars and the moon.”

FinalRender

“The blaze of the campfire, and the breeze of the trees that surround me,

They all tell the most wonderful of stories.

The burning of the wood that gives light,

And the dances of the grass which serves as great company.”

FinalRender2

“No, I am not alone.

I am sitting on this log in the middle of the night

Silently thinking about the things I didn’t do right.”

And, oh, here’s the behind the scenes. 😉

My Artworks are here!

Hi there, guys! 🙂

I just uploaded and updated my artworks page (you can check them out here) and it will be awesome if you guys check it out! 🙂

You can see my works from last year (2015) and there will be more to come! 🙂

Thank you! 😀

Hospital Management System

This Hospital Management System was a final requirement for our Object Oriented Class (Java).

I used Hibernate in order to connect Java with H2 (my preferred database) and I used JavaFX and Scenebuilder for the user interface.

It features various account or user types with specific privileges:

User Privileges:

-Admin:Can access all tabs

-Doctor:Can’t access User

-Nurse:Can’t access User and Doctor

-Housekeeping:Can’t access Patient, Doctor, Staff, and User

Here are the screenshots of the application.

This is the login screen of the program.

Shape Switching

Thumbnail

This game is patterned before the famous game “Color Switch”. I made it for this year’s LudumDare #35 with the theme “Shapeshift”.

“It is very challenging indeed! Memorizing the sequence of the shapes helps a lot of course 🙂 Enjoyable!” – Andrea Pantaloni

This is actually my first take on the 2d world. I chose to make a 2d game because, when I was making this game, I was also taking up my midterms (I’m taking up Computer Engineering, so, yeah…, haha). I made a 2d game also because I was practicing porting to Android OS, plus, it’s also quicker than modeling 3d assets.

Below are the screen shots of the game:

Here is also the link for the game on GameJolt, Shape Switching.

Here is the timelapse for the making of this game 🙂

and here are some of the comments from the LudumDare community,

“Really challenging game! :)” – Jupiter Hadley

“Quite challenging 🙂 Like it.” – Joe Manaco

“Cool game. Very hard, but fun!” – Mint Arcade

It’s Yours: Space Bumpers!

This is a game a made for the Mini Ludumdare #58 with the theme, “Pong”.

I know, I took the theme literally, but…I put a twist in it that makes it more difficult and more immersive!

  • Random obstacles!
  • Random AI (from really stupid to very difficult)
  • Cute Design
  • Made by one guy! (just want to put this here, haha)

Here are the sample low poly characters I made for the game.

The Adventures of Esrever Wild

Thumbnail1020

A simple platformer game with a little “twist” in the gameplay.

SS1

The levels are completely random generated (“random” in a sense that, I have a code that randomly selects which terrain to spawn).

SS2

The game received good reviews and a lot of people enjoyed the game because of the inconsistent difficulty that “kept them on their feet”.

“Nice graphics, challenging and fun gameplay!” – Jupiter Hadley, www.jupiterhadley.com
